It's time to go Racing with Star of the North!

We are now midway through the 2008 racing season at Canterbury Park and any member of the Star of the North Racing partnership will tell you that we are having a blast this season at what has to be one of the funnest race meets anywhere.

Owning a Thoroughbred racehorse provides many enjoyable experiences. Getting to know your horse in backstretch visits, watching morning workouts, meeting the people who care for your horse and joining your friends with jockeys and trainers in the paddock can help make a summer at Canterbury Park seem far too short.

Racing partnerships have provided new owners a cost effective way to learn about the care and management of Thoroughbred racehorses by sharing costs between partners while working with people who have valuable experience in selecting and training racing stock. The Star of the North Racing partnership structure is focused on runners who can be campaigned at Canterbury Park according to three guidelines:

  1. To always do what is best for the horse.
  2. To introduce new fans to all the thrilling experiences of horse ownership.
  3. Concentrating on opportunities that could yield long term returns for our partners.

Using the same strategies and methods that have been employed for Star of the North Bloodstock clients in securing profitable returns, Star of the North Racing’s focus will be in acquiring and campaigning the type of runner that could take our partners just about anywhere.

The typical Star of the North partnership structure allows a partner to purchase an interest in a Thoroughbred with shares offered in 10% or 25% increments. Please contact me for details about runners that are being syndicated currently. I will be happy to provide potential partnership members with complete details of the partnership offerings, including a review of the runners' physical condition, current form, pedigree, (in the event the partnership horse could be re-sold as a breeding prospect) and their potential for racing at Canterbury Park.

I invite you to visit with me this season to meet our partners, our trainers and our horses. Star of the North Racing has a number of solid prospects “In the pipeline” and will be forming new partnerships in 2008 that will be filling fast.

I encourage you to contact me should you want to learn more about our plans or to schedule a visit tracksides. You can e-mail me at or call me, David Miller, at 1-877-866-4468.
